This letter is so alarming to me, because it suggests the author truly believes that membership in this organization somehow prevents people from becoming abusers, as if they are a totally different kind of human. Thank you for standing strong ❤️
Ooohh some petty fiefdom-maker has her knickers in a twist. This is always the kind of thing an abuser says when they get caught: <gasp> "I'm offended"!! ... Cool it, Karen.
Eleanor Roosevelt once famously said that nobody can offend you unless you let them.
Those who take "offense" are lying and are never honest brokers. It's attempting top from the bottom. These denizens of the murky bottoms go around in the world with enormous chips on their shoulders and wear their anger like the status symbol it really ain't. Don't you see that "offendedness" ??? She outranks you, yanno. And that's really what this is, is an attempt at an alpha-roll the same way a dog trainer would do a recalcitrant puppy.
Orrrrrrr - and just hear me out - orrrrrr - Jacky's knickers are in a twist because she *knows* of such abusers, and has been party to covering them up. She's not "offended" - she's frightened.
She can pick one of these to run with.
Either way - those who gate-keep speech and professional opinion are a particularly odious and toxic lot, not fit for polite company.
I wasn't familiar with CAFCASS until right now, but what I can find about them says they are a Non-departmental public body accountable to Parliament through the Dept of Justice, yet they are independent of the courts etc. Emmmm - which minister????
What do you wanna bet that Jacky's not the best-loved-boss ever, either. Maybe it's time for her employees to start squealing on her and bringing receipts.
Stick to your guns.
You've done more good in the world for more people than you know.
And that is what upsets the Jacky's of the world. You're cutting into their misery monopoly.
Support your stance entirely as someone who was abused by a psychiatrist while a patient in the mental health system and then was intimidated and bullied and silenced for whistleblowing when I worked within the same service as an intentional Peer Support worker.
I totally agree with you and was disturbed to see it discussed in legal magazines as if you should apologise. In addition why is CAFCASS scared of free speech?
I stand with you and agree with everything that you have said. The day I saw your original video I was training police officers and one officer told me that the day before she'd arrested a social worker for assault and CCB! To think any profession is incapable is dangerous. To have such a senior employee with her eyes firmly shut is deeply worrying.
Evil happens when people start protecting institutions and not people. I once reported a care worker for abusive behaviour. She stayed. I was bullied out of my job. Not sure exactly what I am trying to say, but good for you to not give a f##k and to stand your ground. If the CEO of CAFFCASS was interested in safeguarding children and their parents, she might have reflected on your words and started to work on ensuring all social workers are safe to practice.
Completely with you - retired from the sector, had enough. Witnessed toxic behaviour sabotage and the ending of a career then. And today it seems to have gone further down the pan.
Well said, every institution and organisation will have abusers in it, especially as there's hierarchies of power and legitimacy in them, and the myths of being a 'social worker/teacher/clergy/safeguarding professional that they hide behind.
Well said, I stood up to a Social Worker when advocating for my client. The fact that I dared question a lack of action to protect a child resulted in a complaint against me.
Surely, basic safeguarding requires that we sometimes 'think the unthinkable' about professional colleagues. Failing to acknowledge the facts you present leaves an open goal for any who choose to abuse their position of trust and power.
You should give all the information required, though,Dr.Taylor,I agree with you, based on my experiences of being perceived as an abuser of a child, after being a responsible, conscientious babysitter, after being "helped" by the family concerned with my mental problems, then having those problems fixed by a professional and then doing further work myself, then perceiving after fixing myself that the parents in the family involved did things with their children which aren't advised by social workers, because they came from the late 60s and believed their parents suffered from sexual repression. They were biased, they influenced me with their biases, the only way to stop these cycles is to remove bias,if you don't supply a clear set of instructions taking into account biases, then you will be likely to receive them.I know from watching and listening to you what you are like, when I first read you on LinkedIn,you came across as mainly hating males and offensive, but if you read more about you,and listen to you,and can understand where your swearing comes from, then it all falls into quite a different contextual form.If those people read that letter,if they don't know you as a more entire person with your experiences, then you can catch them at a certain time, and they may be prone to fly.I know that things can be worded quite specifically to not apply guilt by apparent biases,I've done that with you.I said about your wife and you getting your drinks spiked at a hotel while on holiday and said you may attract that sort of attention and I was criticized, but thinking after that I have found that I have thoughts linked to Spain/Portugal which may have influenced what I wrote, when I was a child I went on holiday to Majorca,I went on a fair ride where you go in a chair that spins and at the top you stare right down into the mechanism,I got so scared I burst into tears, the two Spaniards in front of me spent almost the entire ride looking at me laughing, ever since Madeleine McAnne went missing I have an opinion about Spanish males in a certain sociological section,I may consider them as capitalistic from a viewpoint which involves something very unpleasant,so I may have had your safety in mind, probably did, your experience may indicate it's similar over here, but my childhood experience paired with what may have happened to Madeleine McCann may give a biased viewpoint of how nasty Spanish males with little money can go like.

I fully stand with you and thank you for keeping your integrity in the midst of the world being God damn crazy. Here for the truth, always! X

Oh geez, you even said it was only on the basis of the math!
